Akshay Kumar has begun shooting for Oh My God 2 in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. The team is scheduled to shoot for 17 days in MP
Akshay Kumar is on a roll! The superstar is making sure he is seen on screen very frequently in 2021 and 2022. With an amazing lineup of films, the actor announced his yet another film, Oh My God 2, that has gone on floors. Taking to his Instagram account, he shared a glimpse of the movie posters. While one poster has lord Shiva’s hand holding his devotee’s hand, the other poster has Akki in somewhat Lord Shiva’s avatar with his eyes closed.
Starring Yami Gautam and Pankaj Tripathi, Akki wrote in the caption, “Karta kare na kar sake Shiv kare so hoye. Need your blessings and wishes for #OMG2, our honest and humble attempt to reflect on an important social issue. May the eternal energy of Adiyogi bless us through this journey. Har Har Mahadev. @TripathiiPankaj @yamigautam @AmitBrai.” Directed by Amit Rai, Akki in his caption requested people for blessings and wishes as he embarks on a new journey. His caption also hinted at the movie will be addressing an important social issue.

The first part titled OMG – Oh My God! was helmed by Umesh Shukla and was released in 2012. The movie was a satirical comedy-drama, it was a Bollywood remake of the 2001 Australian film, The Man Who Sued God. The cast of Oh My God 2 has begun shooting in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, it is a 17-day schedule. The movie will be filmed at Mahakaleshwar Temple, Ram Ghat, Kaal Bhairav temple and Tower Chowk in Ujjain as per reports in the media.
